Come on. It does not affect just that one extern repo everybody is so adamant talking about, it affects all of them, at least those that try to use Ports at the same time.
If only two maintainers can fix/are willing to maybe fix meta prj https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2018-05/msg00151.html and both of them are unavailable, isn't it time to come up with some holiday plan at least?
Come on, openSUSE Ports are UNOFFICIAL [1] The Release announcement clearly states "Leap works with X86_64 and deployment scenarios can be run for physical, virtual, host and guest, and cloud. Ports to other architectures like ARM64 and POWER are in the works by the community. " Any [$EXTERN_REPO] or anyone else trying to build against those unfinished unofficial ports and in the process breaking their building of the only official supported architecture really need to reassess their priorities. I'd strongly recommend anyone wanting to build for Leap 15 in advance of the release focus on the only architecture that is going to be released on May 25th - x86_64. Anyone can always add the rest back when the Ports community volunteers resolve any issues they currently have in their project. Literally, 100% not the point. Other repos can _workaround_ this config issue by not including ports, but that is a workaround not a solution. Waste more time arguing semantics than solving this.
