[opensuse-factory] openSUSE 13.1 Beta 1 ready
Hi, openSUSE 13.1 Beta 1 is ready for testing! It's pretty solid as it received an extra amount of automated checks via openQA. Nevertheless there's still quite some work to be done to get the quality we need for the final release¹. So please help testing and file bug reports²! Please find more information about the Beta and the activities around it at http://news.opensuse.org/2013/09/19/opensuse-13-1-beta-is-out/ Or go to the download right away at http://software.opensuse.org/developer cu Ludwig [1] https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Roadmap [2] https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Submitting_bug_reports -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

http://download.opensuse.org/factory-snapshot/repo/oss/boot/ seems to have a mirroring problem. Both i386 and x86_64 produce 404, aka, no current HTTP way to get the installation kernels and initrds to HTTP install, while http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/13.1-Beta1/ has no installation trees. Going directly to widehat.opensuse.org or gwdg.de via HTTP seems to work as expected. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." There had been reports regarding constant file names, in particular for those served from inside the repo/oss/boot/<arch>/ directory, recently. The mirrorbrain configuration got adjusted in the meantime. If that's not the case please feel free to file a defect report. It was indeed fallout from that change. Apparmor profile was not adjusted ... Fixed now. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
