After the latest update of TW, I am unable to boot from the TW partition. /boot/grub2/i386-pc/core.img is missng!! The only way is to start using a DVD and select booting from an existing partition. I use 'multiboot' to get to the proper partition. Copying an older version of core.img does not work either. Is grub2 2.04 changed or is it an incomplete update? --- Frans. -- A: Yes, just like that A: Ja, net zo Q: Oh, Just like reading a book backwards Q: Oh, net als een boek achterstevoren lezen A: Because it upsets the natural flow of a story A: Omdat het de natuurlijke gang uit het verhaal haalt Q: Why is top-posting annoying? Open bug report. The patch 0002-grub-install-Avoid-incompleted-install-on-i386-pc.patch is wrong. Copying files must be done before generating core.img. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
