[opensuse-factory] Bug changed to invalid and resolved is not see bug 551667
Details are in
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=551667
Sure trying to sanatize a record late at night and making mistakes with a
, instead of a . would make entry invalid but correcting them and see it
does not work would have solve my not serious problem. It is now 3:45 in
the morning and I am unable to raise anyone at the location to reboot the
machine into the old OS so I could copy and paste the exact entries is not
possible.
It does not work because SSH is disabled. I was assured through the dev
cyclye when it came up that SSHD would be off by default but allow the
remote installations like in
http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Remote_Installation_of_SUSE_LINUX
and
http://docs.telante.com/index.php/HOWTO_Install_SUSE_Linux_Remotely_without_...
would work. Well they do not see bug for more details.

AFAICT, the remote installation works just fine, but sshd does appear to be disabled by default even when installing over ssh. I thought this had been addressed in https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=535206 /Per -- Per Jessen, Zürich (10.9°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Have just done another remote installation, and sshd _is_ started by default. However, I always disable the openSUSE firewall, maybe that affects the settings somehow? Before I disable it under "Firewall and SSH", I noticed it says ssh or ssh port is disabled. /Per -- Per Jessen, Zürich (11.9°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
