[opensuse-factory] moneyplex 2008 / 2007 and SUSE-Edition stopped working last week
Hi, I am writing to the list one the one hand to make everybody aware that moneyplex stopped working sometime in the last [two] week. But on the other hand: I hope somebody has the same problem and maybe found a workaround or solution. Starting moneyplex right now hangs with the splash screen and uses 100% CPU. It was working on the 12. March the last time for me so the update which caused this regression cannot be older than two weeks. Any idea? The SUSE-Version of moneyplex does not work, my original CD with moneyplex 2007 stopped working and my updated moneyplex 2008 shows the same problem ... I did open a bug at https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=371870. You can determine what you installed and when running this: rpm -q -a --queryformat "%{INSTALLTIME}\t%{INSTALLTIME:day} \ %{BUILDTIME:day} %-30{NAME}\t%15{VERSION}-%-7{RELEASE}\t%{arch} \ %25{PACKAGER}\n" | sort | cut --fields="2-" | less -S - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Hmm, moneyplex is linked statically against most of the libraries it's using, so I'm having a problem thinking of a possible cause. Are you using a chip card reader, that could cause this? Are you using a chip card reader, that could cause this? no, I am not using any special device with it.
If somebody has a factory system that is already several days old, it might be interesting to see when exactly it broke. I have no idea how to debug this. I am really sure it worked with alpha2 ...
