[opensuse-factory] Tumbleweed starts slowly without the installation stick
Hello, I made a fresh install of openSuSE Tumbleweed from an USB stick and everything went ok so far. As long as the stick is plugged into the computer Tumbleweed performs a quick boot within one minute. However, if the stick is removed Tumbleweed takes about four to five minutes to boot; when finally ready it works at normal speed. The fstab does not contain any stick entries. Any ideas? Thank you and kind regards Albert -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Check "zypper lr --details". Maybe one entry points to the stick, and your system is checking for updates that early in boot.
