[opensuse-factory] Notes before you update your openSUSE Leap 15.2 and Beta reminder
Hello openSUSE! I'm really sorry for recent dalays in publishing updates for Leap 15.2. Great news is that we've just publish yet another big update - Build 574.1 / 800MB+. Max was questioning the publishing due the upgrade (not update) issues which we're currently facing on openqa (listed bellow), however there is no official upgrade support for Alpha/Beta, so I feel that this is not really a blocker. This will most likely be the last published build before Beta deadline, which is currently targeted for tomorrow, Thursday 20th February. See more details about schedule in https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Roadmap Here's list of known issues in the build. * This yast2 bug breaks a most of upgrade testing https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1163081 * Plymouth issues https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1164073 https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1162535 * Out of the box performance issues with Intel/Optimus laptops (e.g. Dell Precision line) https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1163093 Happy testing! -- Best regards Luboš Kocman Release Manager openSUSE Leap SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH Maxfeldstr. 5 90409 Nuremberg Germany (HRB 36809, AG Nürnberg) Managing Director: Felix Imendörffer
