Hi,
As I can see on rt2x00 main page, this driver was included to mainline in 2.6.24. As openSUSE 11.0 is going to be shipped with 2.6.25 I wonder why we don't build kernel with this module? Can someone enable this, or maybe there are some objections?
From what I can see, it already is enabled, are you not seeing it in the 11.0 alpha releases?
Eventually after doing so, is it OK to remove rt2x00 from wishlist http://en.opensuse.org/Wishlist_Drivers ?
Sure, please do so. thanks, greg k-h --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Ah, sorry then. I tested on older 2.6.25-rc2 (this one package I was able to install on openSUSE 10.2). I checked changelog of the newest version of kernel-default package and didn't find info about enabling rt2x00. It's great someone enabled that :) Thanks for info.

OK, I will do that. -- Rafał Miłecki

We don't put the info for enabling all of the new drivers for every update to the new kernel version, it would be just too much work for the changelog to handle :) Glad it's working for you now. greg k-h --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
