The old version included binaries, devel and runtime libs. But nothing removes the old package, which leads to file conflicts during upgrade if linuxvnc.rpm is not on the install media (bnc#893343) ==== NetworkManager-gnome ==== Subpackages: libnm-gtk0 typelib-1_0-NMGtk-1_0 - Add NetworkManager-gnome-no-firewalld.patch: Allow to build without firewalld integration (which openSUSE does not offer, boo#897636). - Pass --without-firewalld to configure, to disable integration. ==== PackageKit ==== Subpackages: PackageKit-backend-zypp PackageKit-browser-plugin PackageKit-gstreamer-plugin PackageKit-gtk3-module libpackagekit-glib2-18 typelib-1_0-PackageKitGlib-1_0 - Add PackageKit-offline-update.patch: + Make packagekit-offline-update a static service. Users believe by disabling the service, the feature would be disabled, when in fact systemd still brings the user to the system-update.target, but then doesn't perform any action, most of all not removing the /system-update link, thus ending in a loop. ==== PackageKit-Qt-devel ==== Subpackages: libpackagekitqt4-0 - Build PackageKit-Qt5 variant: + Add pre_checkin.sh to help keep Qt4 and Qt5 variants in sync. + Introduce QtVersion defines to distinguish between Qt4 and Qt5 build. + Only BuildRequire libqt4-devel when built for Qt4. + In case of Qt5 builds, add: - -DUSE_QT5=ON parameter to cmake. - pkgconfig(Qt5Core), pkgconfig(Qt5DBus) and pkgconfig(Qt5Sql) BuildRequires. ==== accountsservice ==== Subpackages: libaccountsservice0 typelib-1_0-AccountsService-1_0 - Pass --enable-user-heuristics to configure to ensure that legacy users are still shown in GDM facebrowser. ==== alacarte ==== - Move .desktopfile from X-GNOME-SystemSettings to X-GNOME-PersonalSettings, since the only values one can change is for active user. Having it under System gives the impression that changes are systemwide. ==== as10k1 ==== - Remove xorg-x11-devel from BuildRequires. x libraries are not directly used. ==== apache2 ==== Version update (2.4.9 -> 2.4.10) Subpackages: apache2-devel apache2-doc apache2-example-pages apache2-prefork apache2-utils - the following unused patches were removed from the package: * apache2-mod_ssl_npn.patch * httpd-2.0.49-log_server_status.dif - 700 permissions for /usr/sbin/apache2-systemd-ask-pass and /usr/sbin/start_apache2 [bnc#851627] - allow only TCP ports in Yast2 firewall files - more 2.2 -> 2.4 [bnc#862058] - ServerSignature=Off and ServerTokens=Prod by request from security team [bnc#716495] - fix documentation links 2.2 -> 2.4 [bnc#888163] (internal) - Update package Summary and Description. - version 2.4.10 * SECURITY: CVE-2014-0117 (cve.mitre.org) * SECURITY: CVE-2014-3523 (cve.mitre.org) * SECURITY: CVE-2014-0226 (cve.mitre.org) * SECURITY: CVE-2014-0118 (cve.mitre.org) * SECURITY: CVE-2014-0231 (cve.mitre.org) * Multiple bugfixes to mod_ssl, mod_cache, mod_deflate, mod_lua * mod_proxy_fcgi supports unix sockets. - provide httpd.service as alias for apache2.service for compatibility reasons (bnc#888093) - move most ssl options to ssl-global.conf. There is usually no need for every vhost to re-define the ciphers for example (bnc#865582). Remove python-pycares BuildRequires since it is optional and not in openSUSE:Factory - Update to version 4.0.2 + Bug fixes * Fixed a bug that could sometimes cause a timeout to fire after being cancelled. * `.AsyncTestCase` once again passes along arguments to test methods, making it compatible with extensions such as Nose's test generators. * `.StaticFileHandler` can again compress its responses when gzip is enabled. * ``simple_httpclient`` passes its ``max_buffer_size`` argument to the underlying stream. * Fixed a reference cycle that can lead to increased memory consumption. * `.add_accept_handler` will now limit the number of times it will call `~socket.socket.accept` per `.IOLoop` iteration, addressing a potential starvation issue. * Improved error handling in `.IOStream.connect` (primarily for FreeBSD systems) - Update to version 4.0.1 + Bug fixes * The build will now fall back to pure-python mode if the C extension fails to build for any reason (previously it would fall back for some errors but not others). * `.IOLoop.call_at` and `.IOLoop.call_later` now always return a timeout handle for use with `.IOLoop.remove_timeout`. * If any callback of a `.PeriodicCallback` or `.IOStream` returns a `.Future`, any error raised in that future will now be logged (similar to the behavior of `.IOLoop.add_callback`). * Fixed an exception in client-side websocket connections when the connection is closed. * ``simple_httpclient`` once again correctly handles 204 status codes with no content-length header. * Fixed a regression in ``simple_httpclient`` that would result in timeouts for certain kinds of errors. - Update to version 4.0.0 + Highlights * The `tornado.web.stream_request_body` decorator allows large files to be uploaded with limited memory usage. * Coroutines are now faster and are used extensively throughout Tornado itself. More methods now return `Futures <.Future>`, including most `.IOStream` methods and `.RequestHandler.flush`. * Many user-overridden methods are now allowed to return a `.Future` for flow control. * HTTP-related code is now shared between the `tornado.httpserver`, ``tornado.simple_httpclient`` and `tornado.wsgi` modules, making support for features such as chunked and gzip encoding more consistent. `.HTTPServer` now uses new delegate interfaces defined in `tornado.httputil` in addition to its old single-callback interface. * New module `tornado.tcpclient` creates TCP connections with non-blocking DNS, SSL handshaking, and support for IPv6. + See more release details at http://www.tornadoweb.org/en/stable/releases/v4.0.0.html - Update to version 3.2.2 + Security fixes * The XSRF token is now encoded with a random mask on each request. This makes it safe to include in compressed pages without being vulnerable to the `BREACH attack <http://breachattack.com>`_. This applies to most applications that use both the ``xsrf_cookies`` and ``gzip`` options (or have gzip applied by a proxy). + Backwards-compatibility notes * If Tornado 3.2.2 is run at the same time as older versions on the same domain, there is some potential for issues with the differing cookie versions. The `.Application` setting ``xsrf_cookie_version=1`` can be used for a transitional period to generate the older cookie format on newer servers. + Other changes * ``tornado.platform.asyncio`` is now compatible with ``trollius`` version 0.3. ==== qt-creator ==== Version update (3.2.0 -> 3.2.1) - Update to 3.2.1 See http://qt.gitorious.org/qt-creator/qt-creator/blobs/3.2/dist/changes-3.2.1 for the complete changelog ==== rdesktop ==== - Enable libao backend, this will help with pulseaudio - Do not buildrequire xorg-x11-devel just the specific needed X libraries ==== rhythmbox ==== Version update (3.0.3 -> 3.1) - Update to version 3.1: + Assorted bug fixes. + GTK+ 3.14 compatible. + Now includes an AppData file. + Bugs fixed: bgo#637747, bgo#686082, bgo#702885, bgo#723020, bgo#725884, bgo#729373, bgo#731025, bgo#731202, bgo#731236, bgo#732764, bgo#732880, bgo#733499, bgo#733526, bgo#733586, bgo#733636, bgo#734057, bgo#734123, bgo#734235, bgo#735021, bgo#735056, bgo#735083, bgo#735954, bgo#737053, bgo#737368. + Updated translations. - Drop rhythmbox-3.0.1-libsecret018.patch: Fixed upstream. ==== rpm ==== Subpackages: rpm-32bit rpm-build rpm-devel - fix size and payloadsize generation for big endian platforms new patch: fixsizeforbigendian.diff ==== rsyslog ==== Version update (8.4.1 -> 8.4.2) - rsyslog Version 8.4.2 [v8-stable] 2014-10-02 [bnc#899756] This release primarily contains a correction for the previous fix for the PRI vulnerability which was incomplete. - bugfix: the fix for CVE-2014-3634 did not handle all cases This is corrected now. see also: CVE-2014-3683 - fixed a build problem on some platforms - behaviour change: "msg" of messages with invalid PRI set to "rawmsg" ==== scons ==== Version update (2.3.3 -> 2.3.4) - SCons 2.3.4: * Fixed the interactive mode, in connection with Configure contexts * Fix EnsureSConsVersion warning when running packaged version * Fix D tools for building shared libraries - for SLE 11 SP3 fix python requirements - Cleanup with spec-cleaner (minor whitespace) ==== smartmontools ==== - Re-add /usr/sbin/rcsmards symlink (bnc#900099). - Fix service restart in smartmontools.generate_smartd_opts.in (bnc#900099). ==== libsnapper2 ==== Subpackages: snapper snapper-zypp-plugin - add option --all-configs to snapper client, list snapshots from all accessible configs - allow to specify command for comparing file ==== sshfs ==== Version update (2.4 -> 2.5) - update to 2.5 * Add -o disable_hardlink option (debian bug #670926). * Optimize readdir by sending multiple requests in parallel. Hi. To easy the visualization of changes, is it possible to list what has changed in the begining of the report (like a TOC) and then the full listing? Greetings. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Yes. It may make the report even longer though. Anyways, the source for this tool is here: https://github.com/openSUSE/osc-plugin-factory/blob/master/factory-package-n... You just need two iso images as input so you can create the changelog diff locally and play with the output format. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
