Has anybody had any success with the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.12-pkg1.run package and the factory kernel? Just go to http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=14 and you usually find the latest beta driver posted there, atm that's actually 177.70, which works fine with the current factory kernel for me (even though I'd be so much happier with an open source driver with the same functionality that could come precompiled with factory - let's hope nouveau will progress nicely).
