[opensuse-factory] Leap 15.1 package freeze approaching
Hi, Leap 15.1 enters release candidate phase next week. During RC phase only bug fixes are meant to be applied. Version updates need to have a justification. No promises about getting extra packages in anymore. Final package submission deadline will be May 13th. As usual, please report any bugs you find to bugzilla¹. Issues and glitches that cannot be fixed anymore should be documented in the release notes². Translations look quite good this time but the wiki clearly needs love³. It's a wiki so don't hesitate to contribute! cu Ludwig PS: 42.3 and therefore the 42 series reaches EOL shortly after 15.1. If you are still on 42.3 please consider upgrading now to help find and fix issues in that process. Hi, I just downloaded a 15.1 snapshot installer and installed my package -- syslog-ng. Of course, as usual, I forgot to update the version number in the configuration. Also, there was a harmless warning about HTTP in the minimal installation, which I now removed by reorganizing files. Update to syslog-ng is now in Base:System and also on it's way to Factory: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/693713 Is this update pulled automagically into 15.1? I checked in the morning and wanted to complain. Just double checked now, before writing, and the fix is there! Thanks to everyone involved! Bye, CzP -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
Hi, See https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1096292 It seems this is not a priority in an enterprise distro, but I have a tablet not supported by Leap, and I can hardly be the only one. Can libwacom somehow be updated by taking the factory version?
