[opensuse-factory] What ever happened to javaws
I tried using javaws the other day, but found only javawswrapper # rpm -qf /usr/bin/javawswrapper jpackage-utils-1.7.0-79 ###### x86_64. Is there a reason it's been excluded, like not available in 64-bit or should I raise a bug report? I think it's been missing from openSUSE for quite some time. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ... java webstart is only supported on i586 by Sun I guess. Ciao, Marcus --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Ciao, Marcus
Checked /usr/bin/javawswrapper and it's looking for javaws. Downloaded j2re-1_4_2_16-linux-i586.rpm from Sun and installed it, so far OK on the one app I have tried, "javawswrapper sportstracker.jnlp". Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ...
