Sorry, for the double post - forgot to change the Subject.

Are .xpm files fringe? With this update, gkrellm just fails to start because it uses .xpm files a lot.

The bugzilla also contains the fix I'm now using in my branched package.
fwiw: it also breaks using createrepo for maintaining local repos.
Are you sure? I use createrepo_c myself for all my local repos, but did not see an issue there. According to "rpm -q createrepo_c -R" it does not use any of the pixbuf related packages - I would be astonished if it would.
What failure do you see?
I got: New and old repodata match, not updating.
ran with -vvv and do not see problem and still fails
removed ./repodata/ and subsequent run was successful
refreshed repos added pkg to local repo and ran: createrepo -u drktbl /data/work/ --update and again see: New and old repodata match, not updating.
again remove ./repodata/ and succeeds
I assume it has a problem comparing xml files due to gdk-pixbuf
but ???
No, I would assume an issue with your download.opensuse.org mirrors. If you really think, I'd suggest you open another bugzilla for this!
