[opensuse-factory] Dependency issues.

php timezone library is causing my updater to barf. ... it says there's an unresolved dependency. As I can tell, there was a major PHP update that was pushed, recently ... I'm going to try removing the time-zone database and try the update again. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

The distro is 11.0, the update said it required PHP 5.2.5 or something, and it wasn't available, I'll go in an retrieve the exact error, later on, but for now, it's 3:00, and I want to relax just a little. ... I did delete that package, the timezone-db package, and all updated smoothly. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

there is no need of this package, you can safetely remove it. ( openSUSE 11 only!!) the bug is that an updated php5-timezonedb package has not been published.. I will fix that ASAP. Unfortunately, this package is, in openSUSE 11 only, a leftover. -- "A computer is like an Old Testament god, with a lot of rules and no mercy. " Cristian Rodríguez R.
