[opensuse-factory] KDE PIM problem (kmail)
Hello experts, since the latest update I'm no longer able to configure IMAP resources in kmail. If I want to add a new IMAP mail account in kmail, it gets added, but the configuration dialog does not open. If I select an existing IMAP account and click on "Change" nothing happens. Starting kontact from a console I get a error Message once I open the kmail config dialog saying that a plugin library can not be loaded. Any ideas what went wrong? Regards, Jörn

I can confirm that. You can still edit the config file, though... I am using Tumbleweed, so I don't complain, but I can confirm the mistake. :-) -- Markus Feilner Team Lead Documentation ######################## SUSE is looking for a new colleague (well, more than a hundred in fact), but one of these positions is in vibrant Prague, writing documentation in a brilliant team, for the inventor of Enterprise Linux: https://jobs.suse.com/job/prague/technical-writer/3486/4652301 Feel free to contact me! ######################## - - - SUSE Linux GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer, Jane Smithard, Graham Norton, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) - - - tel: +49 911 74053 331 mobil: +49 0173 5876 838 e-mail : mfeilner@suse.de g+: http://www.google.com/+MarkusFeilner Find me also on LinkedIn, XING and other decent interwebs. It's a (upstream) bug: http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1040086 And I already submitted a fix for it yesterday, but it will of course take a while until it is in Tumbleweed... hi,
upstream bug is fixed in 17.04.1, but it doesn't work with this
version in tumbleweed.

No, actually it's a regression in 17.04.1 caused by a fix for the new Google XOAuth support (which we backported to 17.04.0), it will be fixed upstream in 17.04.2. The current version in Tumbleweed doesn't have the fix yet. It has been submitted though as mentioned and will hopefully be in soon. For now you could install kdepim-runtime from the KDE:Applications repo if you need this fixed.
