[opensuse-factory] System Activity, Chromium, kwallet
HI In my attempt in trying things to sort out my kwallet issues, I pressed Ctrl+ Esc to get systems activity running and filtered "All PRocesses" it to just show kwallet. This works fine until i launch Chromium, "System Activity" now shows chromium in the list that should only show kwallet, and i've just noticed this kmail composition window is also showing in the list - eh? Is "System Activity" wrong in its filtering or is it filtering something else other than the view of processes? regards Ian -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

These processes use kwallet to store/retrieve passwords etc. Maybe that's why they are listed. Johannes That is my guess too but if i filter only on kwallet, it should only show kwallet -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

It probably shows the kmail composition window because that window has "kwallet" in the window title (from the EMail subject)... ;) Btw, this happens in KDE4 here too, that's not at all specific to Plasma5. Cannot check Chromium, I don't have it installed. my mistake, I assumed system activity was a sort of gui based "ps -eaf" which doesn't pick up the email composition window.
