[opensuse-factory] Strace update
Strace update (broken). ....................... After giving password, updater tells that I can't do update, and advice to use YOU. Used YOU and it complains that it can't satisfy dependencies. I selected not to update. Later, updater has the same update, but this time it updates without asking password. BTW: What kind of information this test should provide? -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

How the tools handle broken updates - basically they should do what you describe :) In the past we had trouble with broken updates as the updater just installed them even with broken dependencies. This is what KDE-Updater tells me: PackageKit Error dep-resolution-failed: nothing provides this_is_broken needed by strace-4.5.18-99.1.i586 This is just funny, "this_is_broken" as a dependancy. Lets look forward how this is developing itself ;) regards, Jens -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
