[opensuse-factory] TW 20170324 snapshot generates systemd error message
For some reason, after the 20170324 update, I'm seeing the following error message in the journal: ``` Mar 28 17:32:09 linux-xxxx systemd-modules-load[399]: Failed to find module 'description "thermal daemon"' Mar 28 17:32:09 linux-xxxx systemd-modules-load[399]: Failed to find module 'start on runlevel [2345] and started dbus' Mar 28 17:32:09 linux-xxxx systemd-modules-load[399]: Failed to find module 'stop on stopping dbus' Mar 28 17:32:09 linux-xxxx systemd-modules-load[399]: Failed to find module 'normal exit 1' Mar 28 17:32:09 linux-xxxx systemd-modules-load[399]: Failed to find module 'respawn' Mar 28 17:32:09 linux-xxxx systemd-modules-load[399]: Failed to find module 'respawn limit 10 60' Mar 28 17:32:09 linux-xxxx systemd-modules-load[399]: Failed to find module 'exec thermald --no-daemon --dbus-enable' Mar 28 17:32:09 linux-xxxx systemd[1]: systemd-modules-load.service: Main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE Mar 28 17:32:09 linux-xxxx systemd[1]: Failed to start Load Kernel Modules. Mar 28 17:32:09 linux-xxxx systemd[1]: systemd-modules-load.service: Unit entered failed state. Mar 28 17:32:09 linux-xxxx systemd[1]: systemd-modules-load.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'. ``` Is this meant to occur? I've updated the system with zypper dup and only include official repos and Packman. -- - Karl Cheng (Qantas94Heavy) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Hi Karl, this must not necessarily depend on the current snapshot. Probably related to this one, right? https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1028596 The fixed thermald version 1.6 still hasn't arrived to Tumbleweed. Got to emend this one above: It seems you stated correctly that this has been introduced in 20170324, because as I have seen a while ago and haven't noticed before, the thermald 1.5.4 has been arrived as update to 1.5.3 (I've asked Fabian for this this earlier, because there was a hanging submit from the hardware repository a long time before), but 1.5.4 seems to pulled in that regression. Nevertheless, according to the comments in https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1028596 this should be fixed with the next one, thermald 1.6.
