Bugzilla being under the overall umbrella of Novell's infrastructure has always been something of a sticking point within the community. There are obvious reasons why it needed to be that way, and there were also good points brought up within the community about why a separate path needs to be looked at. I would tend to agree that we shouldn't rush to make all the changes we want right at the bat here. There's a lot going on and trying to push for changes during this transitional period can be daunting and/or disastrous at times. However, I would hope that the community as a whole can take the time to discuss what they would like to see impact openSUSE during or after the transition. And that means coming up with fruitful ideas and solutions that can be vetted and not just simply griping about what it was you didn't/don't like now. This is an opportunity for Community and Project to rise up and strengthen its infrastructure in a positive way. My personal opinion is that bugzilla should be sent in a rocket to the oblivion and pick up something _sane_ and usable, like Jira, even if it costs money or is closed source. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I've filed and followed bugs on a lot of trackers. I've never found an alternative to Bugzilla that I like better. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Do you really mean the core Bugzilla software or perhaps some infrastructure software like this "Internet in CHAINs" thingy or whatever its actual name is? And you got this "headache" when you were washing the truck or putting out the trash? Really... How long have you been here? A quick glance at google shows postings from 16 Jul 2005 (SuSE 9.3). I am running 12.1 in a vb and and seen nothing like the problems you report. Looks like a problem ibus. Try to uninstall it and related packages if you don't need it. Takashi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Ok, inotify_add_watch returned -1 with errno ENOENT
QFileSystemWatcher: failed to add paths: /root/.config/ibus/bus Bus::open: Can not get ibus-daemon's address. IBusInputContext::createInputContext: no connection to ibus-daemon
Ok, ibus-daemon is not running (crashed, was disabled etc...) but still looks like a bug in the calling application. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
