[opensuse-factory] powermanagement KDE4 -- powerdevil does not handle buttons
Hi, as kpowersave has been dropped I am using powerdevil now. Do the button events work for anybody? My system does a straigt shutdown, no matter what I configure. kpowersave is/was able to handle the button events. /usr/lib/acpid/power_button just should do the shutdown with no active X session... Has anybody looked into this yet, is it a bug or my system? Sadly I did not find the time yet to look deeper into it. greetings Felix Möller -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Please move this script away and try again. Does it still do the shutdown? If not, please create a bug and assign it to me.

Just out of curiosity - since I mostly use laptops - powerdevil is now the official laptop power management gui application for kde? -- kai www.filesite.org || www.perfectreign.com Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it. - Dee Hock -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

http://www.kdedevelopers.org/node/3728#comment-8143 and there is https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=385312 But the second does not have an official statement yet. Thanks, Felix. That is interesting to know. I have only been using 11.x in VM's at this time, so hadn't tried out the power management. -- kai www.filesite.org || www.perfectreign.com Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it. - Dee Hock -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
