Specifically, I'm interested in finding out if php8-APCu is going to be included in Leap 15.5, because it's missing in Leap 15.4.#

I only found php7-APCu :-( (and also noticed that several other php7-* packages are available, but not their php8-* counterpart) Yeah when 15.0 was released php7 was the only thing around and a number of packages were auto imported into tumbleweed. Now packages like
