[opensuse-factory] How to propose ttf-wqy-zenhei to the Factory?
Hi, WenQuanYi ZenHei is a free CJK TypeTrue font for screen display. So far it is the most complete free ttf font. It is already packaged for ubuntu and fedora. I propose we also include it in OpenSuse. Regards, Yu -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Can you package it yourself? In that case: Find a development repository where you can submit it to and ask for submission to factory. If you have problems with any of this, please ask on the opensuse-packaging mailing list and I'm sure some people will guide you. The devel project should be M17N repository. Feel free to post M17N ML <opensuse-m17n@opensuse.org>, too. Takashi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
Thank you. The package is built on api.suse.de: home:rainwoodman:ttf-wqy-zenhei It is the snapshot in May. Not difficult to revert to the latest stable release though. @Takashi: what shall I do next? Regards, Yu On Thu, 2009-07-02 at 11:09 +0200, Takashi Iwai wrote:

@Takashi: what shall I do next?
First off, create your package on OBS, not IBS. Then submit it to M17N repo via osc submitreq. thanks, Takashi

@Yu Feng Do you know we have M17N (Multilingualization) project, which handles mostly CJK related packages in OBS ? https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=M17N And we prepared sub-project M17N:Devel for testing purpose. https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=M17N%3ADevel I think this project is the best place to test and develope CJK related packages. Since we need much more contributers for the project, I'd be very happy if you will join us. ;-) Best, -- _/_/ Satoru Matsumoto - openSUSE Member - Japan _/_/ _/_/ Marketing/Weekly News/openFATE Screening Team _/_/ _/_/ mail: helios_reds_at_gmx.net / irc: HeliosReds _/_/ _/_/ http://blog.geeko.jp/author/heliosreds _/_/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
