I guess the first step you will have to do is to find a "develproject" for it to live in first, and then submit it to factory from there.

Had a look at your homeproject, would you mind enabling building for factory as well? I'd like to test it.

Well, you can set KDE to automount a CD/DVD, and that would apply to this as well, since as far as KDE knows, this looks just like any real CD/DVD

In %install I have mkdir -p $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/usr/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus mv %{S:1} $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/usr/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/ and in %files I have /usr/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/cdemu_emulate_drive.desktop The %install step executes correctly, but then I get + /usr/lib/rpm/brp-hook error: Bad file: /usr/src/packages/SOURCES/cdemu_emulate_drive.desktop: No such file or directory Well, yes, it's not there, and it's not what I have in %files either. I just added a service menu to the python-cdemu-client package, so when you install it you will have "emulate cd drive" as a right-click "action" for ISO images. When you use it, you'll get the normal KDE "new disc" popup, for opening it in a file browser or playing in a music player or whatever

And if you "eject" it from the normal KDE GUI, it becomes "unloaded" in the cdemu sense, so it looks to me like a perfect integration

The only non-usable thing I can see about this, is that it might be a bit hidden inside the "action" menu, but then again that is true for everything in there
