[opensuse-factory] Latest OOO
Hey Group; I opened two previously saved spreadsheet documens. To save them I hit the loppy disk icon next to he folder icon. The save blue bar cast at the bottom makes it about 75% then hangs. This is with he Open Office from openSuSE recently downloaded/upgraded. Furthermore. did it save both sheets or not. Still hanging 4 hours later. All permissions are donn.users Remember the bad saved file you had after hours of work. Either KDE and its software or OpenOffice need to have the right to write a file. Are you saving to your hard disk or a removable device? Have you tried saving it to a different directory?It was saved to /usr/lib/ooo3 by zypper .
I rebooted to get "/" cleaned (fsck.ext3) andthat seems to have fixedhe problem. 0003 came up and required fixing the two ooo3 files. It did just that and then came up.

After a KDE4 reboot now which oofromtemplate equals /usr/bin/oofromtemplate which equals /usr/lib/ooo3/program/soffice Which fails to come up at all now.
