Czech Packagers Team meeting minutes 2008-05-29 =============================================== Present: anicka, anosek, mmarek, mvyskocil, nadvornik, pgajdos, puzel, sbrabec, lmichnovic Minutes: puzel ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Status reports: * anicka - eject: fix #358033 and send patches to upstream - openssh: investigate and close #393413 - fluxbox: (ITO) patch to build for 11.0 and put into my home project in BS - take part in the discussion about package conventions comparison * anosek - udpated eclipse to 3.4RC1 - updated audacity to 1.3.5 - closed vlc #381910, updating vlc to 0.9 from git - working on MyODBC-unixODBC #336135 - switched to new NFS server - attended lecture about Kerberos and SSH * jmatejek - debugging and bugreporting for beta3+ - installing and testing RC (no bugs so far ;e) ) - getting back in touch with OBS development - YaPT: analyzing new "concurrent maintenance" requirements - yapt should work without problems * lmichnovic - fixing nono working skencil with tk/tcl 8.5 #392195 - skencil does not launch. No success yet. - gtkspell: Update gtkspell to version 2.0.13 in Build Service. - further investigation of #389339 - gtkspell defaults to English. - installed and tested openSUSE 11 RC1, reported bugs. - atttended lecture about ssh an krb5. * mmarek - spec file wizard: posted a prototype to opensuse-buildservice - talking with my SoC student - after debugging with poeml, hopefully found the cause of mysql restart bugs (bnc#359522, bnc#332530) * mvyskocil - fix of the jakarta-taglibs-standard and mysql-connector-java for build using openjdk6 in openSUSE:Factory [bnc#394456] - try to build a jtreg - Java Harness Test (Java:test in OBS) * pgajdos - worked on #379549 -- missing ioctl_list manpage - worked on OBS home project - working on #352683 -- xlock is segfaulting when -mode text3d2 is used * puzel - studying packaging conventions - initscripts, sysconfig - investigating broken builds on s390 - working on #329675, #337988, #394569 - fetchmail : fixed some rpmlint warnings - fetchmail : #360507 fixed - updated desktop to openSUSE RC1 * sbrabec - nut: Testing, research on bnc#394542. - smart cards: Testing.
