It probably needs to be fixed in the metadata / package that is problematic. Under which repo url does this happen? Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I see this error with this repo: 8 | openSUSE:Factory | openSUSE:Factory | Yes | Yes | http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss/ sudo zypper -v ref -r 8 root's password: Verbosity: 1 Initializing Target Specified repositories: openSUSE:Factory Checking whether to refresh metadata for openSUSE:Factory Retrieving: content ..........................................................................................................................................[done] Retrieving: media ............................................................................................................................................[done] Repository 'openSUSE:Factory' is up to date. patterns-openSUSE-base seems to be problematic, it brings grub2 grub2-efi grub2-1 -efi into dvd-12.3-17.4.i586.pat.gz. Last line looks wrong indeed. Yes, that's it. I just edited dvd-12.3-17.4.i586.pat.gz in vim, removed the grub2-1 line and now am finally doing a zypper up after two weeks (long time no complete build was available :-) -- Stefan Seyfried "If your lighter runs out of fluid or flint and stops making fire, and you can't be bothered to figure out about lighter fluid or flint, that is not Zippo's fault." -- bkw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

...and after rebooting into that updated installation, now fixed metadata is available and a few additional updates are installing => problem solved AFAICT. -- Stefan Seyfried "If your lighter runs out of fluid or flint and stops making fire, and you can't be bothered to figure out about lighter fluid or flint, that is not Zippo's fault." -- bkw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
Hello Marcus,
Under which repo url does this happen?
It's just the factory url: http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss/
Ciao, Thomas
