It comes up with a boot splash, a start menu and select the spreadsheet option. ps ax out - /usr/lib/ooo3/program/soffice.bin -splash-pipe=5 up come the spreadsheet. Open file, it comes up with data and it locks up. The end Minimize it and call it back up. Found the problem! Something is changing the mode to 640 and even worse Document/donn/ to something ooo3 can't access. I set it to 755 and OpenOffice no longer crashed at that point. Is this a security issue like fuse/selinux, and the "?" owner/user. On 04/23/2010 08:23 PM, Donn Washburn wrote:
