[opensuse-factory] Switching consoles during installation?
Hi, I installed from DVD. When the installation started partitioning the system I was not able to switch to a console with CTRL+ALT+F1 and so on. After the reboot, it worked again. Is that intended behaviour? -- Beste regards, Andreas Vetter Fakultaet fuer Physik und Astronomie Universitaet Wuerzburg --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I would guess: missing xkeyboard-config rpm in the installation system? IMHO this is Bugzilla worth. Hmm, the 32bit DVD obviously does not have the problem. I'll try 64bit again. -- Andreas Vetter Fakultaet fuer Physik und Astronomie Universitaet Wuerzburg

The 64 Bit version also works on the same machine, where I had problems before => No problem at all -- Regards, Andreas Vetter
