[opensuse-factory] Is the old Athlon64 4000+ supported ?
Hi, I'm trying an installation on an oooold pc, with Athlon64 4000+, 1.5Gb Ram. Leap: segfault starting udev TW: I see the message "Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)... ok", then nothing.. So, before wasting hours for nothing, is this hardware still supported ? Thanks, Daniele. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Sorry, you said how much.. so.. if you try booting tumbleweed.. what happens if you edit the boot comand line and remove "quiet" and/or "splash=silent" .. and add "debug" to the boot options..? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Removed one memory bank and now is working. Installation in progress but I did a little mistake, tw 32bit instead of 64. Anyway, I need this machine just for testing some old hardware. So it's ok..
