[opensuse-factory] which wicked repo
So if one wanted to try out wicked which repo should be used, master or factory? And are there any docs on switching to it? Thanks! -- Later, Darin -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
Hi Darin, I would suggest the factory repository to which we make periodic (every 1-2 weeks) releases. The master repo contains ongoing commits being made to the project itself. In terms of switching, Wicked reads the files out of /etc/sysconfig/network, so provided you've had your network working via ifcfg- files, Wicked should "just work." There are even wrapper scripts around the wicked commands to make adoption easier: /usr/sbin/ifup,ifdown, etc For further details, the following man pages are a good starting point: man 8 wicked man 5 ifcfg Hope this helps, and thanks for the interest, -Karol On Wed, Aug 20, 2014 at 01:09:58PM -0400, Darin Perusich wrote:
