[opensuse-factory] Where to file bugs against licensedigger?

Hi, There's a new review step done when packages are submitted to Factory (maybe just for updates that look like a new branch of a package), that checks the licenses of the package. That's all call, except that it doesn't handle well forwarding packages with a _service: "reject": "checkout failed: _service file without _service:* files" That's most probably because the review script was run before the build service ran the services. A potential solution for that would be to try again five minutes later, I guess. Where should I file that? The bug is real, but it's not in the license script - the problem is this work flow: osc add http:// # creates _service file osc build # all is fine, juhu! osc ci # ci _service osc sr # submit _the just checked in_ revision <-- now the source service runs and commits _service:* as new revision osc results # oh, all succeeded, fine I can can go to bed But as a matter of fact the SR will be broken as it only contains the receipt not the files. This is a major flaw of the _service concept I'm afraid, not a bug in the license script. But the check should be done in the build service, not osc. I could write a osc plugin or another client that will not do the right thing (because I have no idea that this check should be done). For instance, does the web interface check this when I click the "Forward to openSUSE:Factory" button? https://bugzilla.novell.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=SUSE+Linux+Legal+Issues That makes bugfixing very easy for you because you'll never get any bugreports ;-) - I get a "Permission denied" for the Legal Issues product... The full message is: Sorry, either the product SUSE Linux Legal Issues does not exist or you aren't authorized to enter a bug into it. I know it exists because some of my bugreports were moved to it *g*, therefore it must be a permission issue. It's at least restricted to "novellonly" and might be even more restricted to the "Legal Security Team" group - at least my bugreports got this group restriction. Oh. that is unfortunate. Thanks for checking. I'll see if Novell allows me to open this for external contributors. Meanwhile please file bugs to https://bugzilla.novell.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=openSUSE+Build+Service and assign it to me, I can adjust the product category manually. PS: This limitation was rather ineffective, if it should have reduced my open bug count. cheers, JW- -- o \ Juergen Weigert paint it green! __/ _=======.=======_ <V> | jw@suse.de back to ascii! __/ _---|____________\/ \ | 0911 74053-508 __/ (____/ /\ (/) | _____________________________/ _/ \_ vim:set sw=2 wm=8 SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, J.Guild, F.Immendoerffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg), Maxfeldstrasse 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany SuSE.
