Workaround for extension breakage Firefox?
Hello, Apparently Firefox extensions broke down on OpenSUSE: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1221531 Does anyone know if the fix if imminent or a workaround? I saw a workaround like this https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1442616#answer-1642858 but not sure if a good idea: sudo update-crypto-policies --set LEGACY -about:config -In the search box in the page, type or paste xpi- and pause while the list is filtered -Find the app.update.lastUpdateTime.xpi-signature-verification preference and click the trash can at the right end of the row to clear it -Close this tab and do a regular quit/restart of Firefox. It should re-run the verification within the first minute or two after startup. Kind Regards, zaggynl
See: https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1221531 AFAIK, once you ran into the problem only "Comment 15" works for now: https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1221531#c15 Otherwise: Don't update for now. Cheers, Martin
