[opensuse-factory] Default theme for KDE:Framework5/Plasma5/Workspace5
I am starting a discussion here about the default theme for KDE:Framework5 / Plasma5 / Workspace5. The current default theme is apparently derived from the upstream theme Breese. However this theme shows the list of folders in KMail, and possibly other lists as well, with quite some spacing between the lines. The consequence is that this list does not fit on my screen, whereas it does fit on my screen when using the Oxygen theme. There is already a bug report about this on bugs.kde.org, but the reaction is WONTFIX. Having that in mind, the openSUSE community needs to discuss the default for the KDE Workspace theme, being it derived from this Breese theme or from an alternative which gives us more lines on our screen. I also started a bug report in openSUSE's bugzilla. http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=908091 -- fr.gr. I forgot to mention in the bug report: with Plasma 5.2, there will be a new default decoration, which is design-vise also adjusted for breeze - one more reason to stick with default style. Also, the Qt5 Oxygen (and latest Qt4/kdelibs4 backports) are using the same value of 4 for ItemView_ItemMarginWidth, so spacing will exactly the same with Oxygen as with Breeze ... Cheers, Hrvoje
