Hello, if this message is double - please ignroe (I've registered to this list only a few minutes ago). A Update or Distupdate fails with the following Error message: Installing: kernel-default-devel-3.1.0-46.2 [error] Installation of kernel-default-devel-3.1.0-46.2 failed: (with --nodeps --force) Error: Subprocess failed. Error: RPM failed: error: unpacking of archive failed on file /boot/vmlinux-3.1.0-46- default.gz;4ebacc73: cpio: read failed - Bad file descriptor Abort, retry, ignore? [a/r/i] (a): I removed this package and the coresponding packages as workaround - but I'm not shure if this works (a other PC hangs after ignroing this message). just a guess, but I would say the download did not complete or the mirror was not up-to-date.
