[opensuse-factory] Recursive login - 12.1 M1

I just downloaded the Factory KDE LiveCD (which contains 12.1 M1), and I can't log in. I haven't even installed it yet, but when I press enter to login, the screen flashes and I get the login screen again. I also *did* do a seperate install from the NET iso and I get the same issue. I'll check for existing bug reports, but I don't think the coming M1 is testable :( Steve -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

That fix seems ludicrous. Why should the string "-plasma" need to be appended to kde to get into KDE? Is there some kind of other supported KDE for it to conflict with? by the way I don't know if this will change anything. In the WM choice of kdm, there are 3 option for kde (invluding kde plasma and failsafe). None of these go to kde, all loop. I will try this fix however and report if it works. jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://www.youtube.com/user/jdddodinorg http://jdd.blip.tv/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Looks like a KDE problem, right? Maybe you (Steven or jdd) should inform the KDE team about that. They have a team meeting soon, so they maybe could add that to their agenda. I heard about a problem between Gnome and kde and thought is was the reason, but if it's the case on the kde live it's an other thing jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://www.youtube.com/user/jdddodinorg http://jdd.blip.tv/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
