Got similar problem with Fujitsu notebook, not with taps 'cos I don't use them but with scrolling. I assumed the configuration settings had got lost again, which happens every few weeks for some obscure reason, but it would not configure because it said the touchpad wasn't found. When I clicked on the link in the error message where I was supposed to report the problem, that github page wasn't found either. -- Graham Davis [Retired Fortran programmer - now a mere computer user] openSUSE Tumbleweed (64-bit); KDE 4.14.6; Kernel: 3.19.4; Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 550; Video: nVidia GeForce 210 (using nouveau driver); Sound: ATI SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
Hi all, Same issue (Sony Vaio) but using kernel 3.19.3 does not work: problem seems to be related to update of xf86-input-libinput. Workaround: changing file: /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-libinput.conf (commenting lines) #Section "InputClass" # Identifier "libinput touchpad catchall" # MatchIsTouchpad "on" # MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*" # Driver "libinput" #EndSection Hopefully the maintainer can diff the versions and see what went wrong, because I do not have the time right now :) Kind regards, Erwin On Tuesday 21 April 2015 20:41:07 Graham P Davis wrote:

Works for me. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
