[opensuse-factory] New Qt 4.5 problems
Hi, a few days ago, the Qt versions on KDE:/Qt45/openSUSE_11.1/ suddenly changed from a simple 4.5.x to something like "4.5.0+4.5.1.20090424-1.1". Since then, I see a couple of issues here: 1. Kickoff menu only draws a frame with transparent contents 2. run command (Alt+F2) does the same, i.e. draws an empty frame 3. Taskbar thumbnails have a completely transparent background, even though the actual thumbnail paints correctly Switching off compositing does not help. Does anybody else experience the same? KDE is current from /repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.1/ Thanks for any hints, Jörg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

First, you very likely shouldn't use KDE:Qt45. Then update to latest snapshot packages and clear Plasma caches to fix if it's the problem Felix mentions. Hi, thanks Felix and Stephan. With today's updates on KDE:Qt45, the problem is luckily and finally gone! Stephan Binner wrote:
