[opensuse-factory] GCC 6 on the horizon
Hi everybody, The currenlty building snapshot 20160613 will be the last one to be based on GCC 5 - all staging efforts for GCC 6 are complete and if OBS does not start playing bad games with me, will be checked in later today to be the new compiler suite for openSUSE Tumbleweed. Out of the > 9000 source packages of openSUSE Tumbleweed, staging takes care of ~ 2200 packages. So there is a large gap with things that can still go wrong (but nothing that should hinder complete snapshots). So the plan is to get gcc6 as the new compiler in later today, have this all go build nicely and record new fallouts. With #oSC16 just around the corner, many bright minds will be gathered together and it will be a great opportunity to pick some brains and ask for help on the spot to get things flowing. If your package is amongst the ones failing, you should certainly try to make use of this oportunity. Have a great time - and 'roll safe' Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
