[opensuse-factory] No SMB authentication during install
I'm just trying a new network install from factory (alpha 2plus?). The diff I see with 11 alpha 2 from the dvd is, that when it comes to the stage to enter a system user, the dvd install had the option to use SMB authentication method. The factory install offers only local /etc/passwd. I think this is a "downgrade". Any ideas why the SMB was removed? Cheers -- Svetoslav Milenov (Sunny) Even the most advanced equipment in the hands of the ignorant is just a pile of scrap. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

They are not removed, this is a symptom of bug 367210 - read my announcement of alpha2plus Greetings, Stephan --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
