openQA does not test VMware player, the license of VMware player prohibits such use, as it is free only for personal use (and even non-profit is explicitly considered commercial use by VMware)

Good luck with your bugreport, but if this is a VMware specific issue (and it sure looks like it given the status of openQA and my own testing) you are more likely to find a solution dealing with the source of the problem and contacting VMware.
