FACT, a return to gegl-0.0.22-2.23 was sufficient.
FWIW, the gegl update is waiting since two weeks in the build service (submission #16895).

well, I don't know. :^). With a lock on gegl, zypper still updated to gegl-0.1.0-8.5, *and* gimp still works. I'm bewildered, but satisfied.
