Anyway, in that case (and if you really insist on that /usr/lib migration) I'd change the %pretrans script to just do a /usr/lib/udev -> /lib/udev symlink (only if /lib/udev exists and /usr/lib/udev doesn't exist) and do the real move in the %pre or %post section (both work). That way the %pretrans script can't do much harm.
