Don't know about @z feelings but I feel something like this. openSUSE 11.1's kernel crashes my machine every time I plugin HDMI: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=430432

I have a problem with my EEEPC 900A and wireless, too. The backported ath5k driver from http://wireless.kernel.org/download/compat-wireless-2.6/compat-wireless-2.6.... works fine. Another driver missing for me is the one for af9015 based DVB-T sticks. Kernel 2.6.28 adds a great bunch of new and updated drivers. For the average user it would be nice to have all his new and shiny hardware supported. But that's no problem for me, I can compile the drivers i need myself. If no backport to 2.6.27 is possible, I will make some KMPs available on the BuildService. Just point me to the best place for them... RTL8197 DEVID 0bda:8198 (usb wireless card, built-in in toshiba satellite L300-100)

This should work already with the rtl8187 kernel driver that is in the kernel tree.

Oh wait, no, that's for the 2.6.28 kernel only, let me see what I can do. Ah, it's a simple device id update, I'll add this to the next 2.6.27-stable release and get it into the next opensuse 11.1 release if possible (I think I missed the deadline, it might be in the first update after GA...)
