there weren't any recent changes on obs-service-source-validator that imho could explain this. and the error is not very detailed. can you run `bash -x /usr/lib/obs/service/source_validator --outdir $PWD` and share the output (maybe as a github issue in https://github.com/openSUSE/obs-service-source_validator/issues ?

Thanks for replying. It was a transient error. Within a few minutes, it started working here. Yes, I know there are errors in the project. I pushed it to OBS early when an osc build failed. All is well now. Larry
