[opensuse-factory] Can't log into Bugzilla
I am trying to update a bug report and the Bugzilla page is not loading for me after attempting to log in. Anyone else experiencing this problem?
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

You can try a "private window" and login from there. Or crosscheck with another browser. If it works from there, delete all corresponding cookies from firefox, e.g. "bugzilla.opensuse.org" or maybe all about "microfocus" as their login service is used for authentication. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

With FireFox I can not login at all and no errors apears – only blank

I have tried that and used Chrome as well. The login page is not loading.

It's not your browser, the microfocus authentication system ( login on openSUSE sites ) is down -- Gertjan Lettink, a.k.a. Any response on when it will be back up? At least it's still not working for me. It was up soon after the issue got reported. If it was down ever. I'm quite sure it worked the last two days without any trouble. You tried to remove all suse, attachemate, novell, and microfocus cookies from you browser yet? Well, it still doesn't for me. On Firefox, that is -- in konqueror it works. If going through Firefox (which worked before) then I'm bounced to the Novell/Microfocus login page after the first attempt, but can never log in even there. Hilariously enough I can change my password from that page, but do nothing else.

I never store any cookies past the session. Next I would try in private mode and then if that still fails too with a fresh (dummy) user. Then by a hight degreee you know it's something in your ~/.mozilla/ directory.

I've had to go to a completely new profile.

It looks like the whole thing is cross-scripting too much, but I haven't yet found where exactly it fails and why it's doing this now when it worked before in the same situation. It turns out that this is an incompatibility between FF42 and the CookieManager extension (plus some interaction with https/secure cookies apparently). If Cookies are globally disabled, then (temporary) enabling cookies via CookieManager allows the cookie to be set and read, however the originating site still gets told that cookies are disabled. Is there a Firefox ESR for Tumbleweed?
