[opensuse-factory] Leap 15.2 entering Beta phase
Hello openSUSE! openSUSE Leap 15.2 just enter the Beta phase with the Build 581.2. The latest images are available here: https://software.opensuse.org/distributions/testing. Big thanks to all of you who were already able to submit most of your larger changes while keeping the schedule detail in mind. All of the submissions submitted on time but didn't make it to the 581.2 will be still processed. **I'd like to promote our Leap Beta testing effort!** The test sheet is available here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AGKijKpKiJCB616-bHVoNQuhWHpQLHPWCb3m... Doug mentioned the possibility of sending Leap Beta tester T-shirts active testers! Please make sure that your name is in the sheet and report bugs, otherwise you're not getting one. Please be aware that we were still not able to get decent upgrade test results becuase of missing 15.1 upgrade test suite (in progress) and also because of openqa being blocked on https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1163081. So any manual upgrade effort would be extremely valuable. I'd like to highlight the WSL team and especially Ludwig Nuseel! The team was working hard to have Windows Subsystem for Linux images as a first-class citizen in both OBS and openQA. I believe we're done for Factory and close to done for Leap. We're now clearly distinguishable from other Linux distribution by having traditional yast2 first-boot wizard compared to the default provided by Microsoft. If you're interested then please don't miss the SUSECON talk where he'll explain the details of the build process. Please reach out to either me or Ludwig, if you'd be interested in Beta testing of openSUSE Leap 15.2 WSL images. They'll be available directly from OBS rather than the usual Store. More info can be found also at https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:WSL Thank you and Happy testing! -- Best regards Luboš Kocman Release Manager openSUSE Leap SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH Maxfeldstr. 5 90409 Nuremberg Germany (HRB 36809, AG Nürnberg) Managing Director: Felix Imendörffer

Hello Felix I just went trough your column and couldn't really find any "suspicious" cell. Did you manage to fix it? On Fri, 2020-02-21 at 04:53 -0500, Felix Miata wrote:

Apparently someone else on this list saw my post, and while I was there, filled an adjacent cell with an appropriate response to allow me to edit. :-D -- Evolution as taught in public schools is religion, not science. The "*-Current.iso" link is missing. Just have a look where the hyperlink points to (https://download.opensuse.org/ ports/aarch64/distribution/leap/15.2/iso/openSUSE-Leap-15.2-DVD-aarch64-Media- Current.iso) and strip the filename: https://download.opensuse.org/ports/aarch64/distribution/leap/15.2/iso/ Regards, Stefan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Adrian, "-current" symlinks are missing for Leap 15.2 ISO and JeOS images. Could you have a look, please? Thanks, Guillaume

these came from the custom scripts, so they are no more. However, you have the links without the build number instead there. bye adrian
Thanks, Guillaume
