[opensuse-factory] Firefox from SuSE is failing to be called by Thunderbird
Hey Group; I sure am getting upset about everything that fails to work with every updated version of openSuSE. This time it is Firefox-4.010b4-1 from openSuSE. It can not even be replaced with a good version from Mozilla any longer. I used under 6 of 6 version 4.0.11 and even it worked but now nothing works. Except Opera Why is it that openSuSE fiddle around with things from Mozilla and Sun applications. Download them and install used to work correctly but now Mozilla fails with that XPCOM error when called from a xterm/knosole I would like to have it work because it is called by Thunderbird from a email. -- 73 de Donn Washburn 307 Savoy Street Email:" n5xwb@comcast.net " Sugar Land, TX 77478 LL# 1.281.242.3256 Ham Callsign N5XWB HAMs : " n5xwb@arrl.net " VoIP via Gizmo: bmw_87kbike / via Skype: n5xwbg BMW MOA #: 4146 - Ambassador " http://counter.li.org " #279316 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Please, there is basically no information in your post. How do you expect that anyone can help you w/o any real information? "It can not even be replaced" Why? "but now nothing works" What? "Mozilla fails with that XPCOM error" Haeh? "> I would like to have it work because it is called by Thunderbird from a email." I need definitely more information about your environment. Which Factory version exactly? Gnome? KDE? Anything else? Give it up. Just ignore Donn's useless ramblings as everybody else does. * he never gives any information in his posts * even if he gets a helpful answer, you can be sure he tries something completely different and with this totally screws up the system I was wondering if he is actually an IA experiment intended on exploring how to lower the signal to noise ratio on this list :-) -- Stefan Seyfried "Dispatch war rocket Ajax to bring back his body!" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Then why are you using the experimental version from factory? Instead of your endless complaints being aired here start filing bug reports! I for one am getting tired of your endless rants. Try sticking with the release version and you will have fewer problems. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
