Hi, I am currently reestablishing the "build the distribution with PIE" support project. openSUSE:Factory:Staging:PIE is the project where factory is currently building with PIE support. Only some failures are happening. (and some of the ones shown seem factory ones, not PIE specific). The current implementation is still: - There is a "gcc-PIE" package, which contains a gcc global "specs" file which adds the PIE flags. The gcc-PIE package is pulled in via the project config. To suppress it, you could use #!BuildIgnore: gcc-PIE A later implementation might just make "pie" default in gcc itself. Main goal is to review and fix the failures that are present.
