No, I use a Konsole tab that opens a root terminal session for that.

I use sudo in some of my scripts because I kept forgetting to sudo before the script, so that wouldn't work for my laziness. Any that are security sensitive, have the execute (and/or read) bit turned off for 'other' Cheers! :-)
