i also posted this on google+ and i got this solution for mysql-workbench:

-- zypper in libgdal20 mysql-workbench (accept breakage of mysql-workbench)

ln -s /usr/lib64/libgdal.so.20 /usr/lib64/libgdal.so.1

also please try to solve dependencies, makes it easier to install/upgrade...

I hope you can fix mysql-workbench to use the updated (months ago) gdal version.

Hi Eric, I've switched your repo from Factory to Tumbleweed, I've installed mysql-workbench 6.3.6-137.1 and deleted libgdal1. Everything went smoother with non problems, the program works without evident bugs. Thank you.
